Need Help with Processional Music Choice

Hi! My fiancee chose "Time in A Bottle" by Jim Croce as the song playing in the background when he proposed to me so we both thought it would be fitting I walk down the aisle to that. But, he really wants the bridesmaids to walk in to a different song (he wants that break/emphasis on when I enter) and I'm concerned about the music flow if there are two different songs.

Can anyone suggest a song that might fit with Time in A Bottle for my bridesmaids to walk into? Thanks!

Re: Need Help with Processional Music Choice

  • the suggestions could be endless. Its very normal to have two different songs between the bridesmaids and then the bride.  It can fade out when bridesmaids are done; then they usually signal for everyone to stand for the bride.  We have two songs for our processional (one for seating of the moms & grandparents; one song for bridesmaids and then one song for me.  I know I am for sure walking to "Marry Me" from Train;  I am back and forth daily with the following for the others:

    My Wish- rascal Flatts
    Fools Rush In-Ingrid Michaelson
We Found Love- cover artist acoustic version
    Thousand Years- Christina Perri

  • Thanks! I guess I'm struggling with the idea that the music choices for my bridesmaids and myself won't "flow," but that is exactly what my fiancee wants! I'm not a huge fan of spotlight, but he wants me to have that moment.
  • I've changed my "walk down the aisle" music several times...
I had an instrumental version of the "Prayer" at first...but now I have "From this Moment On"...

It's so hard to decide...unless a particular song has meaning...like you have.

For my bridal party...kids...etc... I choose the "Butterfly Waltz".
We have an outside ceremony, so that seemed fitting.

    Good luck.
