Can I pull together a dance in a week?!

Ladies - I am getting married in 8 days!!!  My FI & I have chosen "This will be an everlasting love" by Natalie Cole to dance to for our first dance.  I wanted to do a simple swing dance to it...the problem is, I've waited until the last minute.  I have video instrucitons on how to dance swing as a beginner and we've blocked off the entire day Sunday to learn and rehearse the dance.  Do you think it can be done?? Has anyone ever pulled it off??  Tips & advice, PLEASE!

Thanks : )

Can you afford a lesson from a local dance studio ? I think the personal touch of a professional instructor might help you learn faster than teaching yourself from a video. If all you have to work with is the video, I say go ahead and try it. If you guys learn it well enough to perform in front of people, then great! But if you give it your all and still aren't 100% comfortable, I'd scratch the swing element and just have a regular slow dance instead. In my opinion it's more important for you and your fiance to feel happy and at ease during the first dance than to try and wow your guests with a choreographed number.
