    It definitly varies widely based of off your region but aalot of the best deals on DJ's are smaller lesser known companies you can find on craigslist

    I would seriously reccommend against looking for a DJ on craigslist, most are not experienced in weddings.  Simply search on youtube for "craigslist dj ruin wedding"

    Ask your friends and family that have gotten married, ask your venue as well.
