I am looking for a current appropriate song to dance with my 14 year old daughter on my wedding day,  Any ideas?

Thanks

Do you want a mother/daugthery song? Some classic choices are: Like My Mother Does by Lauren Alania, Mama by the Spice Girls or You Can't Lose Me by Faith Hill. Another idea would be to do a modern fun song that your daughter likes?

My mom and I danced to "Mama's Song" by Carrie Underwood but I don't think that it would be appropriate for you.

I love "In my daughter's eyes!" Such a beautiful song. I was planning to dance with my mom to "Mama's song."

I wanted to do a mother-daughter dance to Mama's Song by Carrie Underwood as well but couldn't decide how we would "dance" to it.  I don't want it to be too cheesy and wouldn't mind if other people were on the dance floor with us.  How are you guys "dancing" to it?

I love the idea of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"!  It brings life to the party and if you really can't decide between a slow song or a fast one...I would do both.  Start with a slower sentimental one like "I hope you Dance" for just you and your daughter and then move into the faster one and bring in all the girls!

Does she like Taylor Swift? I assume all 14 year old girls do! She has a song on her new cd called "Never Grow Up"...I am 22 and it makes me tear up thinking about my mom!  I think I will either dance with her to it or include it in our slideshow.

My daughter (17 years old) and I are going to dance to Power of Two by the Indigo Girls.  It has always been just the 2 of us and it is perfect.

Another song I ran across was Crazy Ride by Michelle Branch
