Two "first dance" songs - cheesy?

My fiance had the idea that we each choose a song to dedicate to one another and keep our songs secret from each other until our wedding day.  I think it's a really cute idea, but I'm trying to figure out how to make it work without being cheesy - no one wants to watch us dance for 2 whole songs!  I thought about having one song be our first dance, and the other song be the last dance of the night, or having them back to back but having everyone join us for the second song... any comments or suggestions?

There's software that allows DJs to cut songs to fit a specific amount of time. You could dance for just a minute to one song, then dance for just a minute to the other. People can watch you politely for a whole 150 seconds.

I like the idea of doing a first dance and a last dance.

I like the idea of having a first dance and a last dance.  That is something I am considering doing at my wedding.  Hope it goes well.

First dance and last dance! Not sure I like the idea of splicing the song....esp because you wont know both songs in advance....what if they dont go together?

We had two "first dance" songs at our reception.  We did one at the beginning, of course, and the second after cutting the cake.  The second song just happened to be "How Sweet It Is" so it worked really well.

But I think it would work to have one as the last song of the night as well.

Friends of mine did two first dance songs, back-to-back. The DJ told us they'd chosen songs for each other. It was a little unexpected, but I'm pretty sure everyone just thought it was adorable and kept watching. It's not like they couldn't have walked away to get a drink or eat cake! You're not really doing that to entertain the guests, you're doing it for the two of you. The people closest to you likely won't get bored by just two songs, they'll be emotional and excited. Those who get bored can amuse themselves for 2 minutes.
