Bagpipes for reception

So I am thinking about surprising my FI with a bagpiper (he loves bagpipe music) playing as we enter the reception.  It's a church wedding/reception and we'll be taking a little time to do pictures after the ceremony so the piper will have time to get set up.

Thoughts?

    I think this is a great idea if it's in your budget. I wanted to have a bagpiper lead us from the chapel to the reception venue (same historic grounds), but sadly I couldn't afford it. It was about $200 for the practice, discussion, and time there.

    Also, there are few songs available when it comes to bagpipes, so make sure you know what you want.

    Thanks Sue!  I have a friend who plays so budget wise I'm very lucky.  Trying to find out my FI favorite bagpipe song will be the challenge...and if it fits the occasion! :)
