length of pre-ceremony music

I am just wondering how early to start music at the church while people arrive. 30 minutes? 15 minutes? I'm taking care of the music FOR the ceremony & FI is taking care of the reception music...he has a set time & I have no idea for my part. HELP ME! Thanks

I'm working on this myself right now, I'm doing a safe 30 minutes, that way its playing as people arrive, even if people are early.
