What are some good fast reception songs?
Recommended number of slow songs??

    Some "fast" recommendations:
    Dancing With Myself - Billy Idol
    You Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC
    Don't Stop Til You Get Enough - MJ
    Dancing Queen - ABBA
    Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - Cyndi Lauper

    As for slow songs - I'll share some advice my MIL gave to me.  She said that there's nothing more annoying for an older person at a wedding than to hear a slow song that you like and want to dance to, but by the time you get up and walk to the dance floor, the song is over.  And if a fast song comes on right after, you're just going to go back to the table.  She recommended playing 2-3 slower songs in a row so that doesn't happen.  We asked the dj to do that at our wedding and it worked out great.

    Thank yoy for your suggestions. that helps us out. is that annoying to the younger people attending though to have a few slow songs right in a row?
