Hey ladies! So FI and I are currently in the process of trying to buy a house (the first for either of us). We have a realtor that is a friend of the family, but the house we would like to buy is a For Sale by Owner, so we'd rather not bring a realtor into it unless we have to. Also, if she helps us in any way, she will charge us a fee, and we are trying to save every penny we can these days.
We're trying to put together our initial offer, and even though I've looked up a couple of examples, I'm still a little lost. Anyone have an example of what their letter said? I've seen everything from really formal and SUPER detailed, to more casual and straightforward.
