Believe me I am not "hitting my guests up for cash", this wasn't even my idea.  My fiance is from a big italian, catholic family and its tradition for them, so I am happily playing along.  Im trying to stay away from ABBA and all the other songs listed on websites when I googled "money dance songs", seeing as how there is nothing post 1985.  Hopefully someone has an idea that is a little more current.

I'm late as well, but I have to agree with the PPs. It's a huge tradition in our family that everyone has ALWAYS done the dollar dance...but I just can't bring myself to ask my guests for more money after they'd already spent money to join us on our wedding day. So instead we have it worked out with our DJ to get these "bills" printed that have FI and I's picture on it and space to write out advice/well wishes. It looks like a "dollar bill" so it fits in to the "dollar dance" theme, but it doesn't cost my guests anything. I thought it was a cute idea =]
