Sweet Child o Mine

I'm a pretty traditional bride, but I love the idea of having the wedding processional be the instrumental version of Sweet Child o mine.  I wonder if it is too much for when I walk down the isle.  Should I change the song to cannon in when I walk down, or just go guns and roses all the way?

  • I meant to write..."cannon in D"

As long as your ceremony is not in a church, I see no reason you couldn't have Sweet Child of Mine. It is certainly non traditional, and the Canon (one n) in D is the poster child for traditional. Up to you.

  • I see nothing wrong with it- especially the instrumental version- it's quite nice!

  • I am so glad someone else wanted to use Sweet Child o Mine in their wedding, I was thinking about using it for my father/daughter dance as we both love Guns N Roses. Rock on! I think it would be amazing and its something everyone will always remember from your wedding.
