How to credit Vitamin String Quartet song on program?

Does anyone know how to appropriately credit a Vitamin String Quartet song on the wedding program? My program is simple and I'm only listing the last name of the composer for classical songs in the prelude (ex. Canon in D Major -- Pachelbel).

I'm walking down the aisle to VSQ's Wonderful Tonight. Do I need to credit VSQ and Eric Clapton?

Thank you!

    Yes.   It's an excellent choice.

I am doing Vitamin String Quartet as well (I'm having my bridesmaids walk down to Wonderful Tonight).....But I would just write "Wonderful Tonight" by Vitamin String Quartet...even though Eric Clapton did it...it's the VSQ version.

You should always credit the original writer.  Therefore I would list:
"Wonderful Tonight" - Eric Clapton / Vitamin String Quartet

If space is an issue just list him as Clapton or E. Clapton

Fi Said, "always Credit the artist that you are using, the original has already been credited OR the cover band owns the rights to the song so there is no reason to credit them. if you have room on the program then you can say VSQ - [SONG]-Originally performed by [original artist] but you don’t have to since VSQ most likely owns the rights"   Fi is an A/V Guy and use to write credits for TV shows....

That may be true for TV, however I used to work for ASCAP's concert program division, and when it comes to concert programs (the format of which a wedding program follows) and the original writer should be credited.

I truly think any of the options mentioned already will work. You arent' 'distributing' or 'selling' anything so as long as you and FI are happy--- it will work :)

Ps--- VSQ ROCKS!! :) We are using their music as well, good choice ;)

I agree that any of the options above will work.  I had nothing to add but to say that you've chosen well with VSQ.  We're using their music too :-).
