DJ in NYC

I have never imagined having a DJ for our wedding, but I am starting to consider it.  I want a classy wedding, but My venue is a little small for the amount of people and we are trying to save space on the dance floor.  Does anyone have any DJ suggestions for NYC?

    Hi Kermazz - try posting this on your local board.  On the left side of the page there is a tab for "Local Wedding Boards".  Find the NYC one and post this there as well.  Someone in NYC might be able to help you better.

    And no problem with having a DJ instead of a band - most people use a DJ (or iPod) because of cost or space, don't feel like you have to have a band.  You can make your wedding classy regardless of that.

    Hey i live in NYC, gettin married this july. Havin a DJ also, for 6hrs we r payin 850... which iv beeen told is a real bargain!!! :) we haggled and haggled and haggled some more. It recession time so everyone is willing to work with u!!!! We went with L and S entertainment, located in LI. Ask for John, he's a gem.
