We hired Mrs. M. Johnstone for my daughters wedding. A person to help plan the event, help with details-invitations, vendors, as well as, control the event-guest, gifts, etc. As parents, we wanted our family to enjoy every precious moment possible.
I'm telling my story so others won't go through what my family has. My daughter planned everything, both families plus the wedding party put up/cleaned up the wedding & reception. The items the planner did bring she took down before the reception was over (which did not run over). There were hidden fees 2 weeks before the wedding, the wedding disarray, and the stress level for everyone involved phyiscally draining.
