HELP!!! Need make-up artist in MidCities area ASAP

Soooo it looks like my make up artist won't be working out and there's less than three weeks till my wedding!

Anyone have any suggestions for a reasonably great make-up artist? Prefereably in the midcities area (Grapevine, Colleyville, Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Haltom City, Watauga, North Richland Hills, Keller, Southlake, etc.) and someone who might travel?

any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    Generally if you want the makeup artist to come to you... you don't have to limit yourself to the Mid-Cities area.

    What do you consider to be reasonably priced?

    I worked with Christie Lee and she travelled to my hotel, and I was very happy with her work.

    I had my trial with Shannon from Something-You last night and really loved her. It's airbrush, so it's more expensive than regular makeup, but if you're the only one getting it, it's not too bad - $85 for the trial and $125 for the day of (I think). She's in Ft. Worth.

    Like a pp said, though, most of them will come to you, so as long as they're in the major metroplex area, you shouldn't have to be limited to the mid-cities.

    The girl I had was 60pp (including travel time)  and would come to our hotel. But I know that was cheap.

    I the closer they are to mid cities the less I have to pay for their travel time/gas, plus I need to meet with them before hand and I do not have time to be driving all over the metroplex unfortunately.

    Generally its a flat rate for a certain mileage area (and it will include the DFW area)... definitely ask around

    Shannon was really awesome and I don't think she'd hesitate to make a recommendation for you. She seems to know a lot of people in the business. You might try emailing her and just explaining the situation and see if she can help. They've got a contact box, but her direct email is also on the website.

    Kristin was my MUA and I loved her.  But she has minimums for a Saturday wedding so if all you want is airbrush for yourself, she isn't an option.

    Amanda with AH Artistry (I think?) is popular on here also and I think she's pretty reasonable.

    I used Shannon for my wedding and my bridal portraits and she was amazing. Love her. Definitely worth the cost but I'd contact her ASAP because she's pretty busy.

    I'm using Jenny Torry and I loved her trial and can't wait to see what she does for the big day.  She's out of Grand Prairie but she travels for a really cheap fee if I remember correctly. Her website is jtorryart.com.  I can't say enough nice things about her honestly.

    I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions- I'm new to planning. I have a question though for anyone on here- Is airbrushing worth it? I'm thinking about trying it for my engagement photos.
