Odd drinking question

Need your ladies opinions please!

I'm 20, and Stephens 21, since we're married, am I legal to drink?If he buys me a drink is it legal? I've heard that if I have our marriage license its okay. I know some of you girls have FI/DHs that are police officers, and I just thought I'd ask, because I'm not too sure.  Sorry if this is a stupid question!

That is correct, if you have a marriage license you should be able to drink, but it is at the discretion of the bar/restaurant

You can't buy alcohol, he can. He can serve it to you. Not the server or bartender. Any restaurant or bar has the right refuse service.

Believe me, some of them do refuse!  My mom was refused one time when she and my dad were on vacation.  Hopefully, the bartender won't be a jerk about it.

Pretty much 100% of restaurants/bars will refuse to servce you. It is too much of a liability.

Some bartenders are very strict but with good reason.

Most of the time it is not up to the bartender/server, it is a company policy not to serve minors under any circumstances.

Do you really want to be THAT person? If it was me, I would feel embarressed that I would say can I have a drink? Were is your ID? Well I am 20 but I am married, here's my marriage lisence blah blah blah.

Sadly, I turn 21 in March. I know, I've waited 20 years, I should be able to wait 5 months. I'm lame.
