Father daughter dance song problems. HELP!

My dad left my family when i was fifteen. in recent days he in trying to make amends and he will be there for my wedding in a month( i'm now 23). I wanted my older brother to walk me down the isle and to dance with because he was the one that was there for me and even the one my fiance ask for permission to marry me but he asked to have dad walk me and do a father daughter dance. He is right, i father a a bad temper and chances are when he found out my brother was walking me most likely would and thrown a huge fit and ruined the whole thing. it wouldn't be the first time. but i'm having a really hard time finding a father daughter dance song that suits us, it can't say anything and the guys asking dad for permission or anything about how he help me grow up because he didn't. i was thinking along the lines of "love without end, amen" that it just so two stepy i'm not sure if that's good. please does any one have any ideas?! i'm lost

I am using "my wish" by Rascal Flatts. I was having issues with this as well because I have a somewhat similiar situation. Your dad is trying to make amends and obviously wishes you well. The lyrics do not talk about asking for your hand or raising you. It also is not too fast and would work well for a slow dance.

I am using "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts as well.  I grew up without my father in my life until right before I graduated high school.  We have a good relationship but not close.
