Father in Law/Daughter in Law dance suggestion

I am getting married in December 2010 and due to the recent loss of my father decided to do a dance my father in law to be, I have a great relationship with him.

Any song suggestions? Preferably a song that is not too long

I am wondering the same thing!  My dad won't be at my wedding...and I'm dancing with my father-in-law.  I call him dad...and I don't wanna do something generic...I want something meaningful.

I think the best song for the situation wouldn't be a typical father/daughter song (like Butterfly Kisses, or anything that talks about you growing up), but something more "friendly" like miamiamaria said... maybe "Isn't She Lovely," "The Way You Look Tonight," "You've Got a Friend," "I'll Stand By You"... hope that helps!

I don't know how you guys feel about country, but there is one by Brad Paisley that may or may not work titled "He Didn't Have To Be."  You wouldn't have to use the whole song, maybe a snippet or two to make it fit, not that you have to use it at all.  I hope that helps!!
