Thoughts on dancing to a fast song for the first dance?

Hi ladies,
My groom-to-be and I are thinking about dancing to The Kinks "You Really Got Me" for our first dance.  Has anyone used a fast tempo song?  If so, did you slow dance to it?

My FH and I are really leaning towards Al Green "Let's Stay Together" for our first dance  .. Its not your traditional, slow waltz. Its got a little bounce to it, so we are going to try and pull off a slow, yet upbeat (I know, oxymoron) first dance!

Love the idea. we are thinking of doing the same. we may end the night on a slow dance together but wanted to start with something less mushy (works for our personalities)
