mother/son dance, please help!

Hey ladies!

I have an issue when it comes to the mother/son dance. My fiance and his mom don't have the best relationship in the world, and I'm having trouble finding a song that isn't too... well... mushy, for lack of a better word.

To make it even more difficult, my fiance hates country music.

I've thought about just not having a mother/son dance, but I want to have my father/daughter dance and I feel like I can't have one without the other.

Does anyone know of some alternative-ish songs that might work? Or any song from a genre besides country?

Im a country fan, and my FMIL picked a pretty muchy song so I cant really help with that. However, Its not necessary to have both. Talk to FI and FMIL, if neither of them care about dancing then dont do it. Your father is give you away to your FI so its appropriate to only have that dance.

If FMIL wants to dance with FI...let HER pick the song. IMO, its not your place tp pick a song for them. Ask her to choose one and if she cant, no dnce. Done.
