I decided to hire a DJ last minute for my recent engagement party. I was on a tight budget & let my cheapness get the better of me. ($400 for 4 hours) I hired
PRIMETIME ENTERTAINERS, SOMERSET, NJ & got exactly what I paid for. My DJ was terrible!!
Here is just a small example of what went wrong:
-When I asked for my contract to be email they sent me someone else's contract with all of there information on it.
-When I paid them in full before the event it took them 3 days to get me a copy of a receipt... and that after being told everyday that I would "be emailed it in 5 minutes".
-My guests complained several times throughout the night that the music was just too loud; I even asked him to turn it down & he didn't.
-When my guests would request songs to be played (60's, 70's & 80's) he said that he didn't have any of that music. So hardly any requests where played... and of the 13 songs we requested on a song list given a full week before the event only 7 of them were played.
-Several times throughout the night he would play a song & leave the DJ booth to go out to his car... on at least 4 songs he was simply MIA!
-Then to top it all off he decided to help himself to my open bar... yup that's right... he was drinking all night!!
When I contacted the owner a few days after the party I received a pathetic voice mail with a few apologies,. Sorry but it simply does NOT make up for the fact that it's all my guests can talk about.
So be warned to STAY AWAY from this company!!!
