We booked our caterer last night! It was the last of the huge checks and the one I had been dragging my feet on. We went with Black Eyed Pea - the food was excellent and the price was astoundingly great!

Now if only I had a hair/MUA!

I officially booked Melody and Memories yesterday (no surprise there)... and my friend that's getting married next July booked her yesterday too!

My AW: My FI is AMAZING.  I've been working super long hours, and I mentioned that I wanted to do Thank You notes asap from our shower on Sunday.  I asked if he would help (he is NOT into writing anything, especially letters to people he barely knows), and he said, Yes, babe, all you have to do is write me a sample and I'll get to work on them!  So I wrote him a sample before I left for work this morning, so we shall see!!

My invitations are almost done.  I'm hoping to get them in the mail on Saturday.  It was a long process, because I kept thinking of things, so I would look it up on etsy, buy it, wait for it to come in.  Everything is finally in. I have already hand addressed them all.  I just need to take care of a few details.  Huge check!

Also, bought my BM dress for my MOH's wedding.  She wanted me to wear champagne, so I can wear it on 10/9 for her wedding and then wear it for my rehearsal dinner.  I'm so excited - never thought I would reuse a BM dress.

I have a lot today, so y'all are going to have to bear with me. 

All of my invitations are addressed, stamped and stuffed, except for three more addresses I need from FI (and the one I'm going to send to Obama). And, we only needed two 44 cent stamps, one for the RSVP envelope and one for the outer. We used the king and queen of hearts stamps!

AND 

FI is still going strong with his not smoking. He's on day 6, and he threw out the last of his remaining pack yesterday. AND, he has an interview on Monday!

We booked the flights for our honeymoon last night! My dad used his miles for the flights and FI's mom is paying for the rest, so we are going to be able to fly first class and spend 16 days in Hawaii! We're doing 8 days on the Big Island and 8 days on Kauai. We'll be leaving about two weeks after the wedding, on FI's birthday! And, we will get to have a special first Thanksgiving as a married couple. I'm so excited, I don't want to plan the wedding anymore, I just want to read my Hawaii guide books.

I picked up FI's ring last night!  Paid for and sized!  We are about to make the final payment on the chapel (waiting on them to call me back this morning) so that is a huge relief!!

Anna - AWESOME!  That is so exciting.  That is a great trip to fly first class - because it's a long flight.  You guys are going to have so much fun. (ha - from what I hear, I've never been).

Not much of an AW but I took the plunge and sent my wedding gown off to be cleaned and preserved through Affordable Preservation Company.   I'll let you all know how it turns out.

Tiffany, that's a big step! I know my wedding dress will prrrrobably hang on the back of our closet door for another few months until it climbs to the top of my priority list to be cleaned. Right now, I still kind of like looking at it hanging there every morning

Thanks everyone! We actually spent two weeks on the Big Island in June of 2009 with my family, and we got engaged on that trip, so we're excited to go back. But, we've never been on a big vacation just the two of us, and neither of us has flown first class, so that's fun.

Congratulations on all the AWs!

Mine is pretty simple but everyone is still jealous here.  Bill got me flowers for the first day of school.

One more....
Bill came up to school to help me with something last Friday and then went to work.  I walked him back out the front of school and we were holding hands.  One of my coworkers said that seeing us hold hands made her day.

Anna - I used my miles to upgrade us to first class for our honeymoon flight to HAwaii.  It is awesome!  When you think about 8 hours on a plane, it is so worth it. 
To anyone needing ot get their dress cleaned:  My mom called Terry Costa after my wedding (while I was on the HM) and they recomended Eagle Cleaners (MArsh and Walnut Hill), so she took my dress there.  Big suprise for me when I got back!  I picked it up yesterday, and it looks great!  I think they did an awesome job.  Plus, they speak good English and are very easy to speak to, communicate concerns/needs/etc.  It was $150 for the cleaning and $250 for cleaning /preserving.
