HELP! Wedding Ceremony Music for Strict Catholic Church

So I'm getting married in my FI's family church, which is a Catholic church with VERY strict music guidelines.
  • No pre-recorded music. All music must be live.
  • No "Wedding March" or secular music.
  • Only hymns or classical music.

I don't want anything majorly cliche (so no Pachabel, etc.) but I can't afford a full orchestra (maybe a quartet at most) but I'd really like to stick with a piano soloist.

Can you offer any lists of viable piano solo options?

  • If you're like us and wanted a song that would be THE song you would love for the rest of your life, Last Love by Whitney Steele is the most beautiful song ever! Not that it's important, but II met my gorgeous groom to be Marques online through a dating site and he IS most definately the last love of my life!

IAnd if you like the Gin Blossoms (we love the Gin Blossoms) watch Whitney, who is so filled with heart and soul AND and incredible singer songwriter, oh back to her video... See Whitney's unofficial video of Last Love with Scotty Johnson of the Gin Blossoms here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y16J1eCkySY

Marques found this Whitney Steele song for us and I love it...  If you need a wedding song or first dance song, I'll share my wedding song, first dance song with you... We bought it on CD Baby and know every word by heart!
  • I'm walking in to clair de lune, and probably using trumpet voluntary or something similar for the recessional.  I want the moms to walk in to 'dawn' which is a piano piece from pride and prejudice. haven't cleared that yet with the church, but ours is fairly modern/open.

a lot of times pianists are really great at just improvising scales and arpeggios to sound really pretty -- could you do that maybe?  Pick a hymn with a pretty intro, and just ask the pianist to improvise it to last the length of your entrance, etc.
