Father/Daughter Dance Song

Hey Ladies-

I'm having a bit of trouble.  My dad is kind of goofy and silly and doesn't really want to dance to a sappy, tear-jerker song but isn't much of a dancer either so he doesn't want to get all crazy.  Any ideas?  Thanks!

    I'm actually having my dad pick the song. That way I don't pick on thats too sappy and so he has a say in the song.

    I am now concentrating on the father/daughter song. We both love classic rock and that was always part of our bonding. Ones I've like to so far:
    The Pretenders- I'll Stand By You
    Fleetwood Mac - Landslide
    Led Zeppelin - All of My Love or Thank You
    Pink Floyd - Fearless
    Roy Orbison - You Got It

    as for more upbeat songs, try a Beach Boys one, a Beatles tune, or some kind of motown/soul song like My Girl or something.

    I think if you are looking for something upbeat but really sweet too you could do - Sunshine of my life by Stevie Wonder - I actually walked down the isle to that song - but it would be great for father/daughter as well
