First Song HELP - Mix of Indie and Classic Rock

Hello everyone,

My fiancé is a classic rock guy (think Journey, Boston, etc.) whereas I am a little more Indie-Pop on the spectrum (Ingrid Michaelson, Joshua Radin, etc.).  How can we combine these two very different styles to come up with one First Dance Song?

what about a cover song? Maybe one of your indie bands covers a great  classic rock song. Good Luck!
