First Dance Song?

We're thinking of using "Smother Me" by the Used as our first dance song. My FI and I have been together for almost 7 years now and this song has always been very special to us, but in the back of my mind I'm a little bit worried about what some of our more traditional guests, like grandparents, might think. Should I consider their opinions when choosing a song, or should I just go with what we like?

I say do it. If its you, that is all that matters. Plus the song sounds sweet, its not too crazy. Dont worry, do what you like.

unless its dirty or innappropriate for all audiences, you should be fine.  If its special to you & FI that is what matters.  No one has to approve your song-- so as long as it is not offensive, you should be good to go.
