classic country father/daughter dance...?

does anyone have any ideas for a classic country song to dance to? we don't want something too sappy, just something sweet and upbeat.

i am NOT looking for new country, but music that i used to listen to growing up (80s)... i'm not talking about 'i loved her first', 'butterfly kisses', or 'i hope you dance' (that all makes me want to barf!!), but something along the lines of old george strait, alabama, ricky skaggs, dwight yoakam... any ideas??

i was gonna say ready set don;t go by billy ray, but that's pretty new.... and not very upbeat... what about daddy's girl by red sovine?

Kind of Hard to find an upbeat country song appropriate for this.  Here are a couple to think about, even though they really aren't upbeat.

Yeah, we thought about Love Without End, Amen - but that's more of a father/son than daughter. And yeah, the Conway Twitty one's depressing! It doesn't necessarily have to be 'upbeat', just not something that will make us cry. We've always been close, but I'm just not a 'daddy's little girl' kind of girl. Who knew this would be so hard!

If you're not a daddy's girl then it's going to be tough.  The only other one I can think of is new: Tim McGraw's My Little Girl. 

Try calling a country station at night (DJs are usually bored around then) and ask them if they can recommend something and play it.

I know the feeling of not really being a daddy's girl, my dad and i don't get along very well and the dance will probably be super awkward, but i know he'd be really hurt if i decided not to have it. so i'm also trying to find a song... probably going with ready set don't go....
