Tipping Venders

I need some help with how much to tip venders.

Is it based on the cost of the service like tipping at a restaurant it would be % of the total?

Or is it a standard dollar amount no matter what?

Please help!!!

I was just looking at this last night actually! It seems to be different depending on what is included in your contract, if the vendor owns their own business or works for a larger company, etc. And then there are exceptions, for example multiple people have told me I need to tip my MUA even though she runs her own business, I'm paying her travel fees, and she has no employees. I honestly don't understand that one.. but as another example, we plan on tipping our DJ about $100 or so because he works for a DJ company.

Hmmm very helpful! Our photographer is co-owner the company, florist is the owner as well. So many little things to think about!!!!
