October Siggy Challenge

This month's siggy challenge is honeymoon destination! If you have not booked anything yet, feel free to post something you have it narrowed down to or your dream honeymoon! Let's see where you will celebrate your marriage - a beach? Backpacking around Europe? A cute bed and breakfast? Can't wait to see where everyone is going!

What is a siggy challenge? It's not really a "challenge" in the sense that someone wins, it's just a term really. Each month we choose a theme and put that photo in our signatures (the thing that shows at the end of your posts, like the tickers). You don't have to participate if you don't want to, but it's fun!

Easiest way to upload a siggy photo:
-Upload your photo to tinypic.com.

-Resize it (I did the "website/email" one but play with it to make sure it's not huge!).

-Copy the "html for websites" code (ex. "<a href ="http://tinypic.com?ref=16a4nkx" target="_blank" /><img src="http: //i39.tinypic.com/16a4nkx.jpg " border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic" /></a />" minus the quotes on the outside and the random spaces I threw in. BTW this is one of those sample pics on my computer so if you want some penguins.. lol).

-Paste it into the "edit my message board signature" on The Knot (if you need to know how to get here it's My Knot at the top, then My Bio, then edit my avatar & sig).

-Done!

We haven't booked anything yet thanks to FI's work. They have "closed periods" for their vacation days and they happen to start the week after our wedding (possibly the week OF.. ugh) and last until Memorial Day, which is right before another wedding we're in. So we don't even know if or when we can go. But if/when we do, I REALLY want to go to one of the Couples resorts in Jamaica! So once I update my siggy, that's what it will be :-)

ETA - Anyone else having problems with TK today? I can't seem to load my bio page or the page to change my siggy. Hmm.. guess I'll try again later.

Again you rock with telling us how to put in our siggy! We have the best mod ever  Im gonna try again tomorrow. I really wanna play along but i am so dumb with pictures and the computer.

Yay! I did it. I tried a couple months ago and it was a failure. That wasnt so hard, so idk what i was doing before. haha.

We were originally going on a Hawaiian cruise for 14 days. This week all of that changed to a week trip to Cancun. We are getting hooked up with his Aunts sweet time share so we are able to cut a lot of costs. I am so excited!

I don't know what I'm doing with this siggy- Can anyone tell me how to get the "March 2013 Siggy" on the same line as the rest of the San Juan part?

Definitely one of the places I'd like to visit someday. True. But I kinda would rather have something booked just to know for sure, you know? It sucks not knowing if we can even go anywhere. FI's work only lets him take his measly week vacation (5 days really) over a week or individual days throughout the year. So basically he may have to switch weekends with the other manager to have our wedding day off and he will have to work all that week including Friday when he'd probably work 6:30-2 (and he works an hour away so yeah...), then work again on Monday. It's a mess. I hate his job so much!!! He might get two weeks next year but they like to screw up a lot so who knows. Sigh. Only thing keeping him going through the rest of the year is the nice profit sharing check he will get as long as he sticks it out. Figure after the first of the year he will start job hunting again.

Anyways, totally jealous that you're going to Australia and New Zealand! Australia is one of those places I NEED to go someday! Hopefully we will make it there when we have the time/money for it!

We are going to Walt Disney World for 2 weeks next October (6 months after our wedding) for our honeymoon and it will be for my fiance's (then husband's) 25th Birthday. We have booked our hotel so far. We decided to splurge and stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort since is very close to the Magic Kingdom and has great transportation options to the other Disney parks. We will be purchasing our plane tickets soon and start planning what day we will go to each park. We can't start making any meal reservations until the week after our wedding since Disney World only takes reservations 6 months in advanced. We are super excited because we love Disney. My fiance hasn't been to Disney World in over a decade and I haven't been in four years, so it will be a busy trip.

We are going to New Smyrna Beach, FL.  We rented a condo right on the ocean.  We are both huge Detroit Tigers Fans...so we planned our wedding date around Spring Training, which is in Lakeland, FL.  The week we are there, we will make a couple trips over to Lakeland to see the baseball games.  It's about a 2 or 2 1/2 hr drive across, but will be worth it!  We thought about staying closer to the spring training facilities, but we also wanted to spend time on the beach

We just finalized our apartment in Paris!! For anyone that is going to one place for a wek or more try VRBO....SOOOOO much cheaper then a hotel or hostel or anything that is a nightly charge. Though we have both been here before, really Paris is just one of those places for us that feels perfect for our honeymoon....

Not going to lie, I don't even know what a Siggy is, but we are going to Disney World! My FI has never been so we booked 7 days in Disney. We are going in Late June because I am a teacher and with my vacations being prime most expensive flights to FL ever time, we figured we would wait until I was out of school. However, we are planning a short 4 day trek with most of our bridal party / closest friends to Vegas in April as well. We got engaged there, so what better way to celebrate with everyone after our wedding!
