I need help!!! But for what my money can buy. Is there anyone who used a local weddinf planner in Dallas, TX?

What did you have budgeted for a planner (if anything?)

Knowing your budget is important.  I would HIGHLY recommend a planner, especially if you go the DIY route.  They are immensely helpful and oftentimes save you so much money on vendors that those savings alone pay for the coordinator's fees.

I agree on finding someone to help, if not with all the planning, at least with day-of. I used someone who was starting out independently to make sure my day flowed smoothly.

It would help immensely to know what money you have to spend. All of us on this board have/had different budgets, so that will really give us a range of what you're looking for. We would hate to overwhelm you with DOC's that are outside of your budgeted amount.

With that said, I paid $1500 for day-of coordination which included meetings and communication as far out as two months prior to the wedding date. For the money, I felt that it was worth every penny. I had zero stress on my wedding day because I knew everything was being handled exactly as I had laid out. If anything went wrong, I never knew about it.
I used Each and Every Detail (Wendy Kidd and Candace Williams) located in McKinney.
