Looking for Norcal Photographers

I went to my first photographer interview and don't get me worng the guy was great, full of energy has great photos but the min cost started at 2500! I just think thats insane! His min cost is the same amount for all of my rentals of gigantic tent, tables, linens, chairs etc. All Im asking for is paying for the 8 hour time and the editing time and I want a CD of all photos. I can do my own photo prints and albums, since thats what my business does. I'm just frustrated about how much "Wedding" photography costs!

Anyone in norcal know of anyone who is cheaper?

Your going to be hard pressed to find a good photographer in Northern California for less than 2500.  Here are a few fabulous photographers that i know.  You might check with them, they may be running a special or something.  I have used them both.  One for my engagement and wedding pics and the other for a set of boudoir pics.

I know the photography seems like a lot of money, but you know what.  that's what's left when everything is over.  you have the photos forever, long after the last glass of champagne.  Good Luck!

There is always craigslist if you are looking for cheap photographers. Just be careful. you do get what you pay for.

Yes, 'you get what you pay for' is right! You're actually saving a lot by being able to print your own photos as it is.

$2500 is a fair price for a good wedding photographer in norcal. Yes, you can definitely find photographers for less but i am definitely agreeing with "you get what you pay for". It really all depends on how important you think photos are. hope you can find a good deal!
