Help! Need good photographer in IN

We're getting married outside at a state park southwest of Indianapolis in Spencer, IN but everyone wants big bucks to travel out of the city and no one even specialize in outdoor weddings where the leaves and the fall are our major decorations :)  Any suggestions?

There are a number of phtographers who will travel "at cost" to a destination, but no one is going to travel for free. If you don't want to pay travel costs, you'll need to look for someone local.

I've never heard of a photographer "specializing" in outdoor weddings. What you need is someone who's work matches the same aesthetic as yours, not someone who has shot a the exact same wedding. If you want someone who will take details of the folliage, then hire someone who does good detail shots. If you want someone who will incorporate the trees into your portraits, then hire someone who encorporates the whole environment in their pictures. Don't get caught up in the types of weddings a photographer has done in the past, but look at their overall style.

    Hello!

I'm a student at DePauw (Greencastle) and another senior here has been doing freelance photojournalism for a while. He's been very successful and has done several weddings before, taking more of a journalistic/storytelling perspective to them. I think he lives in Lafayette usually, though I'm not sure when your wedding is. Since he's freelance, his prices are a lot cheaper than what you'd find at studios and he might be more willing to travel. Take a look at his online portfolio. If you aren't interested, no harm done, but if it helps you out, then yippee!

Good luck with finding a good photog!
Oh, and if it's McCormick's Creek, I highly approve!!
