HELP! please.

ok, so I found out today that my photographer is pregnant- & due in July. (MY WEDDING DAY IS JULY 2!)

I am very happy for her, but at the same time, i NEED a photographer.

I don't know what to do. I don't want to chance it & her go into labor and me not have a photographer on my wedding day
I could cry right now, i swear.

She sent me a website of another photographer that said she'd take over if need-be. but i don't like her photos AT ALL, they are all bad/tacky/cheap looking.

(we've already paid her the full amount, my grandpa wanted to go ahead and pay off as much as possible)
so i don't know what to do!
HELP!

Is there a way to get out of your contract or are you stuck with her because of the deposit?  I would think, being pregnant would be reason for you to get a refund, especially since she was referring you to another photographer.

you have every right to ask for a refund and find someone who's photos you do like.

I don't really think you should ask for a refund, but you do have every right to push her for a photographer you will like and it's her responsibility to provide that. Check your contract for clauses about her not being able to photograph the wedding, substitutions, etc
You definitely need to express your concerns to her though- get things resolved as soon as possible to everyone's satisfaction. The longer you wait, the less likely you will be able to find a photographer you do like who is available on your date.
