What do you look for in a photographer?

Hello brides! I am a photographer, im not advertising, just looking for some tips from all of you! I am working on my blog and trying to help brides with there planning, so what is it that you look for a photographer? What kind of question do you ask? Thank you!

Things I look for on a blog or website:
1) a photojournalistic approach
2) a blog that is updated frequently
3) pricing information and availability

Things I looked for in a photgrapher:
1) experience
2) good reviews / recommendations from other brides
3) a photojournalistic approach
4) when meeting with photographers, I picked the one I felt the most comfortable with and who answered my questions without me asking them.

Ditto Steph. I would also add that when I look at a photographer's website, I expect it to be fairly easy to navigate and to work well. If a page took forever to load or if it was difficult to find and look through the photographer's wedding portfolio, I would often just bypass looking at it.
