Big Birthday Help

Hey ladies. My sister is looking for a place to have a private birthday celebration for her FIL's 65th birthday. They are looking at 50-70 guests and a budget of $2000 for everything.
Any ideas of a restaurant or venue that would work within that budget?
I'm drawing a blank.

    Where are you looking... location wise?  Plano?  Dallas?  Fort Worth?

    Location is going to depend on it alot. I know of some Indian places in Garland and Mesquite. Don't know if that's what you are looking for. Jubilee Hall and Fun Asia.

    I was going to start suggesting places, but it helps to know what part of town you're looking for. What about cuisine?

    Sorry, I should know better than to not post location! Most of the family lives in Cedar Hill, so anywhere around there, Arlington, and Dallas would work.

    Also, the food can be anything, but preferably something somewhat nice as opposed to backyard bbq.

    I've done 2 for my parents--mom's 60th was at Trader Vic's.  It was fun, but I wasn't that crazy about the food. 

    If they like seafood, I would suggest Pappadeux.  I threw a suprise party there for a good friend and it was really lovely.

    We did a suprise 25th anniversary party for my parents at MAttito's downtown.  They have a great seperate building for parties, and there were about 50 of us which fit great in the room.  Nice, but not fancy.
