If anyone in the Omaha, NE or Texas area are planning to use Ellison Photography I would caution you before you do. My sister got married June 2nd and didn't receive any photos until September; and no communication as to why it was taking so long. Then she was sent a couple prints of random photos that the photographer picked along with an apology because apparently all the editing she did over the past 3 months on the photos was lost somehow. Finally, my sister received her disk and all copy rights to the photos which she paid for and we were all very excited to see them. Of course being the sisters of the bride we were proud to show them off and posted a handful of them on facebook. Once the photographer saw this she contacted myself through a FB message and stated that if I wanted to post anymore photos I would need to get ones with her logo on it. I messaged back that it was my understanding that my sister paid her for the copy rights and has the card to prove it. She then never contacted myself again, but called my sister directly and told her that she would send prints with logos all over them if family wanted to post them on FB. I would never recommend them to anyone after all this hassel. We were patient and polite about waiting so long for the photos and then she still feels the need to try and say we can't put the photos on FB that my sister has the copy rights to. How does she monitor all of her clients and what they do with the photos after she releaes them on a disk with a copy rights transfer card?
