Need help finding a videographer

I am getting married in June in Blue Springs Missouri and I need 2 videographers to capture the event. My budget is around 1300.00 at most. I have found a few but I want to see their work. One that I found seems to not want to answer all my questions about money and just send me the contract, which I think is fishy. So right now I am torn, I have to find one soon before there isn't one available.

Most that I find say they do highlights, and I want the full video of ceremony and reception, not just highlights.

Can anyone help suggest or explain things to me please???

Thanks

How long is your reception?? I've never seen a videographer offer a final version that was the full ceremony and full reception because that would be 6 or more hours of movie. Most final versions include some highlights of preparation, full ceremony and then highlights of the reception. I have however, seen video packages that gave the bride and groom the raw footage of their entire day and then they could privately have the video edited to suit them. Maybe that's an option you could ask your vendors. HTH

You just need to talk to the videographers that you're considering as to what you want.

I was very specific about what I wanted from my videographer which was to include a trailer, a highlight reel, and the full ceremony and reception on DVD edited (broken up into chapters). I was able to find a videographer who would do it with no problem, and frankly it wasn't that hard as most videographers were willing to accommodate.
