Wedding Photography and Videography Forum

Re: .

  • Have you thought about lifestyle photography? They're done outdoors or in a setting that you'd be more comfortable. Studios may or may not be for everyone. If you can let them know you do not like any of the shots, then maybe they'll do another shoot with you. Let them know what you liked about what pictures they showed previously and you want the same look. Good luck and I'm sorry you didn't like your pictures! :-(
  • Have you discussed these concerns with your photographer? What was their response?  If their investment in time was only 20 minutes, perhaps they would be willing to do a re-shoot in order to make you happy.  This might be good for their business and help them secure a contract for your wedding (the bigger bucks!).  If they are disinterested or just want to bulldoze you into accepting what they want without giving you a chance to air your concerns, find another vendor.  Most vendors will work with you if they are hoping for a long and successful business venture. Good luck!  P.S.  I am a successful full-time videographer in the DC area and after hundreds of events; I feel I am qualified to offer this advice.
