Pre-Ceremony Music

We aren't having any type of live music (violins, pianos, etc) play before the ceremony, while people are seating.

We are just having the venue play music off of an ipod or a CD. My question is, how many songs should I choose? We are in the process of making the CD right now, and I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly how long/how many songs we should allow.

It will vary depending on the length of the song, but I know our ceremony musicians started about 30 minutes prior to the ceremony as that is when guests typically start to arrive.

I'd plan for about 30-40 minutes of music.

Our musicians played for about 30 minutes before the ceremony started so I agree with Tiffany.
