AW: Finally got my ring!!!

Hi ladies...just have to share my excitement.  FI proposed in February with an heirloom ring, and we had a new setting custom designed and made.  It finally got done today and I looveee it.  The jeweler did such amazing work and we are so thrilled with it.

Erica, if you need a jeweler, I HIGHLY recommend Curtis Cox in Waco (well, just north).  H got my engagement ring setting there, and we had my great grandmother's ring reset for my wedding band.  He is brilliant and his prices make him worth the drive.

That is our jeweler too!  He reset my heirloom center stone also.  Love him!

Oh and the setting is lovely--it's a similar style to the ring my stone was originally in.  Love it!

Ooh, thanks for the tips! I was thinking about having a band custom made since my e-ring is kind of an odd shape, but I'm not sold on it yet.

It's apparently not too hard to do!  Curtis made a mold of my engagement ring so that he could custom-fit my wedding band to make a complete setting.  After our wedding I had them soldered together, which was great because the wedding band rolled around terribly on my finger and now it stays in place!
