Help me choose between two photographers

Help me choose! I"m a photographer and SO picky about technical details but really struggling with this decision. I have two options for photographer. THey are both high quality photographers and their styles aren't all that different. 

Option #1 http://chadsphotoblog.com/
Pros: AMAZING price and all digital images.
Cons: not sure he has an eye for detail - images with eyes closed, poor posture, etc and not sure if he takes enough shots to avoid this problem

Option #2 http://jennamichelephotography.com/blog/
Pros: second shooter, included engagement shoot, doesn't seem to ever miss a moment
Cons: costs twice as much and only doable with debt and slashing dress budget

Would anyone be willing to look at both portfolios and tell me what THEY would do? Thanks!

For my FI and I we didn't want to skimp on pictures so we would go with Option 2 and adjust the budget accordingly. This is something that only you and your FI can figure out if you want.

I agree with both your assessment and the PP.  #1 is just OK, not terrible, but some of the posing is sloppy, some of the shots seemed very random, definitely a lower budget photographer and it shows. 

You get what you pay for.  Obviously photographer #2 is more experienced doing weddings and her pricing reflects this.  Only you can decide which is best for you.  I went with a photographer the caliber of #2 and I don't regret it.

Wow you are right (except Chad is in Florida now).  There is no way I would pay #1 $3K.  I like #2 much better for that price.

They're both in Florida now. Because of the packages and special pricing I am considering, he's $500 and she's $1100.

If you were to describe their "very different" styles how would you do so?

I see her as a little more photojournalistic but both are modern, simplistic in editing, and semi-traditional.

I agree and I don't think they are so very different as much as I think #2 is simply more experienced.  Her posing and framing of the shots are just better overall IMO.  She just has a better eye, so to speak.
