photo prices

Hey does anyone know what the average price for a photographer is? Someone offered me 4300 for engagement pictures and all day wedding coverage with an album.It does not include any other photos or parent albums. I'm not sure if that's a good deal or not. Does anyone have any answers??!!

Everything depends on the photographer, and on the album. But it is normal in the New Jersey area.

It's really going to depend upon your location. I would seek out other quotes from similar vendors in the area and weigh out the cost vs. product.

For my area, around $3000 is the norm for that amount of coverage.  I'm lucky to have found a photographer that I love with a 6-hour coverage package for $1250. That doesn't include prints, but does include the CD of all the images, touch-ups to 100 pics, and the rights to use the pics. 

Check to make sure you're getting every pic on a CD with that package. It's not worth it if all you get is some of the prints in an album.

wow- im glad im planning a NH wedding.

Our photgrapher is $910 for 6 hours, 2 photographers, 300 pictures on a cd, and a framed print.

any additional prints can be purchsed on shutterfly....

i guess i lucked out!
