So, I'm starting to look at photographers, but due to job situations, I doesn't look like I'll be able to go home for a while, which makes me nervous about booking a photographer.
1) How vital is it to meet your photog face to face? Has anyone had success with just communication over the phone/email/skype? (My mother can go meet with someone, but I'd rather do it).
2) I think I found someone that I like, and his reviews are glowing, but there's only a few of them on independent sites (still, glowing). Should I be concerned that not many people have used him, or not worry. For the record, I think he's fairly new to the area, at least since I graduated high school.
3) What advice do you have for long distance photographer hunting?
