Affordable Photographer

Hey everyone!  I am looking for a photographer to take our engagement pictures, but it seems like everywhere I look its $300 and up, which unfortunately is out of my budget.  Can anyone refer me to a photographer they know of that is charging less then that?  If there are any art school graduates who does that and is looking for work in my area I would love to find out your prices as well.  Thanks for your help!

Just remember.
When it comes to photography you almost always get what you pay for.

If your wedding is costing less than $2500 I can understand your dilema.
But if it's over $3000 you really need to save and get someone who can make your day look the way you want instead of a bunch of low budget snapshots.
Sorry if it seems rude but $300 for wedding day photos is really unheard of.
I have had 2 relatives that found someone for between $3-$500. Both have nothing worth saving to show for their money. My cousin went to a professional to have them fixed. She spent more money for fixing than the person who took them. VERY VERY SAD!
I do not wish that on anyone.

OP, you should check your local board for suggestions. Also, try looking on craigslist.

I charge $85 to add to a $500 package or &250 for engagement only. There are affordable photographers out there you just have to look. Don't forget to research and browse different photographers.

Thank you very much for responses!  I decided to go with db images, if anyone is looking for an affordable photographer, I would defiantly contact Devynn from db images.  Thanks again for all your help!
