Alex Kaplan Photography?

Has anyone heard of them and used them? I am curious to see if they are too good to be true - their quote for photography and videography are thousands less than other companies I quoted.;

here's a breakdown - $2,600 will get me the following:
  8 hours with 2 photographers, wedding album and 2 parent albums and a cd of proofs.
  6 hours with videographer, dvd with highlight.
  100 thank yous
  16x20 retouched portrait.

is this too good to be true? is he cheap and crappy?

I'm in a pretty rural area of Pennsylvania and that package for both vendors here would be an absolute steal. Personally I'd be a little skeptical with the quality and final product. I don't think I could trust both of those huge aspects of my day to one vendor who may not be able to deliver what I expect, only a good deal on it.

I would have to really carefully consider examples of their work, ask for contact information from 2 or 3 of their most recent brides to talk to as references, and of course post this on your local to see if anyone has feedback to share.

Finally, go with your gut. If you have a bad feeling about it now, there's a good chance that will only become greater as your wedding day approaches and you've booked them as a vendor. Best of luck with things!
