Just a few months before our wedding date, the independent photographer my wife and I had chosen to capture our once-in-a-lifetime event disappeared along with our deposit. We came to find out he was deported and had owed a lot of people a lot of money. Thankfully, we had wedding insurance that covered it (I highly recommend Travelers) but this left us without a photographer with just three months to go!
We decided to go with a well-known photography company this time and chose Bella Pictures. Initially, the experience was a bit rocky. Prices and services seemed to differ from what we were told and we began to wonder if we hadn't somehow just annoyed the photography gods.
But then, Brandon Kalember of Bella Pictures began to work with us. Brandon's concern from the get-go was that we were 100% happy. Immediately he worked out the contract details so everything was as we'd envisioned. Then he worked frantically to provide us with the photographers that would be able to provide the style we wanted. Every time we hit any kind of snag, Brandon immediately heard our concerns and took care of it.
The photographers we chose (on very short notice) were both very talented and professional. And the photos came out great! We received many compliments about them! Bella took care of the video for us as well which was also fantastic!
When it came time to decide on an album, we weren't sure whether Bella would be able to provide the high-quality look we were looking for. The companies that could, however, were charging three times Bella's price. Once again, Brandon came to the rescue. He promised to create the album we wanted at the price they offered. We were a bit skeptical, but decided to to take a gamble.
When we got back our first draft, my wife and I were disappointed with the results. We felt that the album wasn't at the level of quality we'd hoped for, and thought that maybe we'd made a mistake. But we continued to work with Brandon, who allowed us to go beyond the two-draft minimum that was included in the price.
The final result, was amazing, except for a glitch with the cover. And when we told Brandon about that, he sent us ANOTHER to replace it!
Admittedly, my wife and I were very demanding throughout the entire photography to album process, but Brandon always remained courteous and made us feel like we were his only clients when I'm sure he was dealing with hundreds.
So if you know what you want for your wedding photography and album, I highly recommend working with Brandon Kalember at Bella Pictures. Maybe all the customer service there is as good, I don't know. I can only speak for our experience with Brandon since we worked with him. I would even go so far as to say that Brandon offered the best customer service I've ever experienced in my life. Now THAT's a recommendation!
