Photographer??

My sister in law is a photographer.  I want her to be in a bridesmaid, not the photog.  Should I give her a choice?

    I'm not even entirely clear on what you mean by "give her a choice." I can't imagine she would do your wedding photos for free, and it would be quite rude to ask for that. If you want her to be a bridesmaid, ask her. Your page says you aren't getting married until June 2012, though, so you really shouldn't consider asking any of your WP until June or July of this year at the absolute earliest.

    I would advise against having a family member act as your pro photographer. Just in case any issues arise, it's much less complicated to deal with a third-party than a relative.

    If it were me I wouldn't want my sister- in- law to be the photographer.  I would want her to have fun at the wedding and not wanna work it.  She wont' be able to have fun if she is the photographer.  IF you want her to be a photographer maybe she could do the getting ready shots and thats it.
