George Street Photo and Video

Has anyone used the Indianapolis location? We are meeting with George Street next weekend and wanted to see if anyone could recommend them or has had a bad experience. They look wonderful online but would prefer feedback either way.

Be careful with George Street Photography.

If you do a little bit of research on other forums, you will find freaky stories about them. From what I read, all the brides complained that they could not reach their "photo planner". As soon as you sign the contract and show the color of a dollar, they stop caring about you and will even be rude.

The thing with the company is that they work with thousands of photographers. They don't have assigned photographers. They just chose them locally. So what you see in their portfolio is absolutely not representative of what you will get. This means that you can be lucky and be sent your way a great photographer, but it also means that you can have the worst pictures ever.

I am a wedding photographer and I ALMOST made the mistake to work with them. During the interview, all they cared about is if I had a vehicle and professional gear. My photos were secondary. That says a lot about them.

For the price they offer, I suggest you hire a good local, independant photographer that will charge you the same, if not less, and provide exactly what you hire them for
