Is it weird...

to want to get couples portriats in our bridal attire done a year after our wedding?  We had great photos, but there were lots of candids and very few posed.  At the time, we didn't want to take time out of the day to do pics, but now I wish I had more of just the two of us doing poses.  Is that weird since it won't technically be our wedding day?  What do you all think?

It's a little weird. Why don't you guys get couples portraits done just wearing normal clothes?

This isn't weird at all.  Many couples do this.  They go back to the original site a year after.  Kinda make it a fun anniversary thing to relive it.  This time around you will have all the time in the world to get the formal shots you want.  See if you can either get the original photographer to do it, so the styles will be consistent with your original shots, or try to find someone else who has a similar style.  Don't feel silly about it!  Go for it!
