Has anyone used GEORGE STREET PHOTO? (in the Maryland, DC, VA area?)

Hi everyone! I am looking for vendors with photo/video combination packages, but they're all so expensive. One of the most reasonable I've come accross is George Street Photo. The only thing I'm concerned about is that apparently you don't meet your photographer until 5 days before the wedding; prior to this, you meet with a photography/ video coordinator. I know it is not recommmended to work this way, but I'm desperately looking for the best deal and quality work.

Have any of you have used them before and what your experience was like?

My cousin in DC had a bad experience with them for just that reason. You really need to feel comfortable with your photographer. This requires meeting him/her multiple times before your wedding. I also highly recommend having an engagement photo shoot with your photographer. You need to know the photographer's style, personality, etc.... If you don't click with him/her it could be a disaster. Soheil Photography is awesome and really works with your budget. I would highly recommend contacting him before committing with George Street.
